TERMS OF USE
1. Service Scope
KodaPdf offers a set of online PDF and media processing tools. These services are suitable for both individual and commercial use unless otherwise stated. The Provider reserves the right to change, update or completely stop the products without prior notice.
2. User Responsibilities and Automation Prohibition
You are responsible for all activities that take place under your account. Use of the service for illegal purposes such as distribution of malware or sharing of copyrighted material is prohibited. The use of services with scripts, bots or any automated tools is strictly prohibited; only manual browser access is allowed.
3. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Features
Outputs produced by AI-based features (Summarization, AI Chat, etc.) offered by KodaPdf may be incorrect, incomplete or misleading. Responsibility for decisions made based on these outputs belongs entirely to the user; users are obliged to verify information before critical decisions.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on the platform, including software, logos, designs, texts and interface, is the property of KodaPdf. Reproduction, redistribution or creation of derivative works of the service without written permission of the Provider is prohibited.
5. Limitation of Liability
KodaPdf provides services "as is". The Provider can only be held responsible for damages arising from intent or gross negligence. The Provider is not responsible for service interruptions, data loss or indirect damages.
6. Sensitive Data and HIPAA Disclaimer
Protected Health Information (PHI): KodaPdf is not designed or intended to store or process Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined under the US Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). We do not sign Business Associate Agreements (BAAs). Users are strictly prohibited from uploading medical records, patient files, or any document containing PHI. In case of processing health data, professional secrets, or documents with legal retention obligations, all responsibility belongs to the user. KodaPdf does not perform any control or filtering on the content of uploaded documents.
7. Termination and Applicable Law
In case of violation of terms of use, access to the service can be terminated immediately. These terms are subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where the Provider operates, and the competent courts are the Istanbul Courts.
PRIVACY POLICY
Data Processing and Confidentiality
KodaPdf accepts user privacy as a fundamental right. No document uploaded to our platform is stored permanently; it is processed only temporarily for the purpose of performing the technical transaction you requested.
File Security and Automatic Deletion Protocol
Automatic Destruction: All files you upload and the outputs obtained from these files are deleted irreversibly from our servers within 60 minutes following the completion of the process.
Encryption: Data is transmitted encrypted between your browser and our servers with the industry-standard HTTPS (SSL) protocol.
Isolated Processing: Every processing operation is carried out in isolated secure container structures to prevent data from being mixed.
Cookies and Third Party Ads
We use cookies to improve your experience. Third-party providers such as Google AdSense may use cookies to serve ads based on your visit to our site. Users can manage or block the use of these cookies by visiting Google's ad and content network privacy policy.
Data Sharing and Storage
KodaPdf under no circumstances shares, sells or scans user-uploaded document contents for advertising purposes. It is the user's responsibility to keep a legal backup of your documents; our platform does not offer a storage or archiving service.
DATA PROCESSING AGREEMENT (DPA)
1. Subject of the Agreement
This Data Processing Agreement determines the boundaries of technical data processing activities carried out by the Data Processor (Kodapdf.com) on behalf of the Data Controller (User).
2. Technical Security Measures
The Data Processor undertakes that it has taken up-to-date administrative and technical measures such as SSL encryption, isolated server architecture and Monarx security software to prevent unlawful access to data.
3. Destruction of Data
Contents uploaded by the User are deleted irreversibly at the end of the 1-hour technical period following the end of the process. The Data Processor declares that it will not keep copies or backups of this data.
4. Confidentiality Obligation
The Data Processor guarantees that no personnel or third party can access document contents due to the automated nature of the systems.
